Jeremy got his Christmas gift a bit early. I worked with a company to turn one of our favorite pictures from our trip to japan into a pixelated (Lego style) 20"x20" piece of art. I will post pictures when he's done with it.
Before we had to head back to Texas, Hunter got to dance with a virtual robot!! The view on the phone is what she is seeing. The robot copies the wearer's movements so they can dance together.

Mom has joined the Virtual Reality world with her own Oculus VR.
Time for a family field trip: exploring the oceans, the International Space Station, and checking out the recent Space X launch.
Because Jeremy's birthday falls at the tail end of the summer, he gets his gifts at the beginning of the summer to get the most use of them. Even though he already got the new Oculus VR this year (full disclosure - so did I for my birthday), it's also time for a drone upgrade!
One of our biggest adventures during our trip to Disney World was pin trading. It was awesome and easy to become obsessive. The ones we were most looking for were the Orange Bird and Mickey Mouses's predecessor, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Through three days of trading, we were able complete the sets of both!! I now have them displayed in my classroom on cork trivets from IKEA.
Jeremy's Christmas present! Meeting our favorite voice actor, Christopher Sabat, from many of our favorite shows. He was really nice! He even signed three of our POP vinyl figures.
Jeremy and I have backed an online project called the Peanut Ukulele. We ordered two electric peanut ukes and the first of them arrived in the mail today! This is going to be fun for jamming in our house with out disturbing the neighbors.
I backed my first Kickstarter project back in September 2018. Today my games arrived: "Unstable Unicorns Control" and "Unstable Unicorn Chaos". These are Kickstarter exclusive sequels to the original game "Unstable Unicorns" that is available in stores now.

I always end up getting Jeremy's gifts early. Usually because he "needs" them. This year is no different. It made sense to get him his drone 2 months early so he could use it during our summer adventures and to give him time to practice before he gets to start up his new drone club at school next fall.
