We got to see the "5th Annual Wheels of Hope Car Show". We saw multiple blocks of classic cars and a few TV and Movie favorites.
The Sunshine Singers presented "Joust!" tonight to a record crowd. We even had to open the bleachers for additional seating.
The big show of the season has wrapped and the stage has been reset for "Music Sharing Days" all next week. The following week will be the 4th Grade Honor Choir's Spring concert followed by the NRH2O music festival the following week. Part of our whirlwind weekend of visiting multiple parts of Oklahoma included getting to see Jeremy's nephew Nolan for Easter at his parents house.
Jeremy and I found a deal on some amazing kites. We got a seahorse for Mom, dragon for Donnie and Jessica, unicorn for Hunter, and firebird for Jeremy. We immediately headed out to the park. Donnie and Jeremy got a little competitive and dubbed it "Battle Kites".
Jeremy has been planning to give Hunter her own John Deere for a LONG time. This Easter he finally got to do it!
So, the above picture sent by my brother appeared on my Apple Watch while I was teaching my Kindergarten class today. The kids immediately asked me,"What's that?" So I put it up on my screen and within a few seconds they started singing the YouTube sensation "Baby Shark". By the time I grabbed my phone they were already on the Daddy Shark verse. Between major thunderstorms we headed out for date night. We try to do some kind of date night at least once a month. This round: pedicures at Lily Nails, board game shopping at Half Price Books, and dinner at Ramen & Sweets.
