Thanks to Instagram we found a great little Japanese cafe with a Shiba Inu (dog) theme in Richardson, TX. We got to sit at the traditional floor tables and have traditional Japanese cuisine. What a great place!!
A storm brought sleet to the area and shut down all the after school activities for the day and we forgot our ice scrapper!! Shout out to our Superintendent, who was quick to start scrapping all the cars in the teacher parking lot.
2/22/22 on a Tuesday = Twosday!! This is the only time this will happen in history!! To celebrate the amazing number of 2s, we wore tutus, tiaras, tie-dye, tennis shoes, and ties.
Getting dressed for our LEGO competition... Our team did a great job and had a wonderful day. They went home with the "Robot Design Award" and will be moving on to Regionals next month! We got to meet a bunch of other local teams. I even got to see the team from my old school, Dooley Elementary and got a quick snap with the mascot, Spike.
I love when this man comes to our school and does his assembly with his puppets. This is my favorite show of the year.
At this year's music teacher conference, I got to meet one of my music heroes, Karen Howard. She is an ethnomusicologist. She visits many countries and studies the music from around the world.
While we were at TMEA, we got the announcement that Jeremy had been nominated for "Teacher of the Year"!! I am so proud.
Before we attended TMEA, we spent a little time at the San Antonio Zoo. What a great place! We are absolutely making this a yearly tradition. *See more photos under "Our Pictures"
